The house we used to live in had a house "just across the road" and I never noticed it until recently and every time we drive by, I take a pic. Anyway, it reminded me of the Munsters' house, but now I changed my mind. It reminds me of Jud's house from Pet Sematary.( See what I mean?Collapse )
Doesn't seem to be curtains in the downstairs windows and my mom noticed the roof needs some work. But then I looked closer at Jud's house and, well, that doesn't look very tip-top, either, lol!
Made this last night and touched it up this morning, before knowing it was the anniversary of Fred's death, which made it a little eerie. He turned out a bit larger than the other pixels I've done, but I wanted to get in all the detail.
I made some Munsters pixels a while ago. Thought I'd post some here. The rest can be seen on my Fred site. Please don't alter or steal them. You can save them and put them on your site or wherever, but leave the credit URL on them (and a link back to http://www.fredgwynne.net
would be cool).
I've also made a few new fanvids, lately.
First up is a short one called Toody & Muldoon Society.
Second Munsters Flame. Herman invites some bad guys into the house and they end up killing Lily. He has to live with the memories and try to carry on.
Third is a tribute to Fred called Tell Him Goodbye and it's a photo montage.
Enjoy and comment if you like 'em!
I took the posts off of "friends only" so everyone could see, just in case some people don't have a LJ account.
New stuff is always being added to the Fred Gwynne Experience
so don't forget to take a peek when you get a chance.
Yeah, so I dressed up as Jud from Pet Sematary. I explained who I was to my mom, who then explained to my dad. She took a couple photos of me. I look weird. But then, I always do, lol! Don't poke fun.
I paused my DVD on Jud so there could be a comparison. I don't think he had Eeyore on his overalls, though. :-D
So, I'm thinking that it's probably written somewhere that thou shall not fancy an old sweaty Fred kissing an inanimate object, but I've never been one to follow the rules. :-D
Now maybe it's the glasses (I usually don't like halvies but they look fine when they're not halfway down the face), or the black clothes (ignoring the leather thing), or the gloves (ditto), or the cute hair, or bomb detonator porn. Who knows.
Oh, man. This was gonna be just a small little post. And now I feel like I have to explain my love for the tooth. (No wonder I have no friends, lol!)
Okay, in the photo just before the above one, there's the front tooth (our right), then the little space (I love tooth spaces), tooth and then the next one is the pointy one that I like:
So that doesn't really show it, lol! (Is it normal to have a fave tooth, anyway??) I can't find a better shot. Oh! I know where I have one. Stay right there while I find it. Where'd you go?
Wanted to get Wolf Wolf in there, so Grandpa's head was a must:
Lil' fang, hehe:
Then there's my whole "I love when a guy holds a ciggy with his teeth" thing, but I won't bore you any further. :-)
And, Disorganized Crime equals a fun movie. Woo!

Okay, so I made some silly videos of just Jud photos with various music (so far I've used Depeche's Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" and David Bowie's "All The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell" cos I like them). I just throw them together to watch while I work out and need something to look at. Well, it hit me that it'd be neat to do a video that showed a whole other interpretation of the movie. I don't have the movie on my computer so I can't do it (unless it was a photo-only thing and people tend not to like those as much).
The story would be something along the lines of Jud being the evil in the area, but nobody knows. When you think about it, he was the one who brought Spot back and started that whole thing, Church ended up on his lawn, he was the one who lead the way to bring Church back to life, he was there when Gage got killed, etc. He saved Gage at the start, but only because it was too soon to kill him. He lives alone. Where is his family? What happened to the people who used to live across the street (and how many families came and went)?
Jud could be the devil or something similar, leading people down the wrong "path" and destroying their lives while still maintaining the innocent old neighbour image.
Yeah, sure, that's not at all how it really went, but it's neat to think about it. And it COULD have worked that way. Gage ended up killing him, but was he REALLY dead? How many times before did the back-from-the-dead plan backfire on him where he ended up being killed. He could die just long enough for the family to be done away with, then he comes back all better and waits for the next family so it can start all over again.
